By a 62% to 38% margin, the Ohio law which took collective bargaining rights away from public employees was soundly overturned in a huge voter turnout led by the public employee unions. Teachers, police officers, firefighters, nurses, and other civil service workers stand united in protecting their hard fought contractual rights. The defeated law was a far-right attempt to eviscerate the power and stature of labor unions. We won’t let it happen in New York!
